WHERE TO BUY OUR FRUIT

We sell our fruit at the Wednesday Santa Monica Farmers Market from late July to Christmas.
Come by for peaches, plums, Asian and European pears, fresh figs, grapes, sweet persimmons, fresh-picked apples, pomegranates, and juicy satsuma mandarins.

We have not yet figured out a reliable, economical way to ship fresh fruit other than citrus.

This is one of the resons why Laurence has been developing a line of fresh fruit preserves:

When I fist came to the orchard and saw all the fruit that was going to waste, it drove me crazy. I couldn't stand it.
I used to accumulate bushels of cosmetically challenged fruit in the cooler, but I didn't know what to do with all of it, and Jeff would be left to throw most of it out later, when I wasn't looking.
So I began experimenting with recipes, found a good commercial kitchen to rent, and got to work making preserves. They are for sale on my own website.
