Mountain Rose Not a boring subacid white peach, Mountain Rose is an antique white peach variety once grown commonly in New Jersey. Round shape, white, very juicy flesh, sweet and full flavored. Semi-clingstone. Season: Early August Size: 16 to 24 per metric layer Suggested uses: Fresh eating, sorbets, preserves, sauces, mixed drinks. Shelf life: Store at 50 degrees for best flavor, 32 degrees for maximum shelf life. Fairly good keeper.
